Sales Manager, Sports


LiveU is the number one provider of 3G/4G portable uplink solutions to the broadcast and web markets. We are leveraging this market position to expand LiveU’ s presence within the Sports market and are recruiting a Sales Director to lead this expansion. Qualified individuals should have proven experience and effective business contacts with Sports teams, conferences, leagues, digital media companies, and other market segments that are associated to sports in the United States as well as resellers that focus on these accounts that have the ability to sell solution based products and identify new business opportunities within the sports market place.

Sales duties include but are not limited to:

• Utilize consultative selling techniques to build, implement and drive immediate sales and establish long-term relationships with accounts
• Prepare bids, process specifications, and presentations
• Serve as a solution based consultant for accounts including sales calls & presentations
• Create account action plans as well as set and meet revenue goals for designated product line
• Understand all aspects of our business which includes: working with distribution channels, mechanics of conducting a sale, market needs, trade shows, and sales strategies
• Develop a pipeline of opportunities that supports the individual’s sales goals


• Less than 10 years selling solutions in the sports market in the United States with strong executive contacts
• In depth understanding of sports teams, league and conferences and their day to day operations
• Demonstrated history of sales achievements including growing sales and development of new business of technology solutions
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision a must
• Technically capable person able to demonstrate complex solutions and discuss technical features in detail
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
• Collaboration skills to build relationships
• Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers
• Detail oriented and organized
• Computer & CRM skills (Microsoft Office)
• Advantage to candidates with experience in: Wireless Network solutions, Video solutions, Mobile Solutions
