Platform Flexibility

The LU30 is a fully integrated unit delivered in a specially designed backpack. It includes the complete uplink package: video encoder, cellular modems, internal battery, LCD touch-screen and the unique LiveU aggregation software. It uses high-profile H.264 video encoding, supports CIF to full SD and uses a DV interface to support any camera. LiveU's transmission products can be used for TV and/or web and mobile transmission, and are compatible with virtually any CDN or live video platform. Simple, Intuitive Control from the Field or Remotely 

The LU30 can be easily and fully controlled by a single operator in the field using an intuitive touch-screen interface, and an external touch-screen. Additionally, the unit can be controlled remotely from any computer or via a variety of mobile devices such as iPhone, iTouch, Android devices, and iPad, The LiveU system also analyzes the data conditions in the field and automatically recommends the most suitable video settings.

Batteries

The LU30 is equipped with a built-in ion-lithium battery, and supports additional hot-swappable ion-lithium batteries. The unit can also operate with a direct DC power supply. Finally, special adapters for Anton Bauer batteries are available as accessories. With the variety of power options available, the LU30 can operate for very long hours without any down time, supporting even the longest imaginable live events.

Pre-Recorded Upload

Even if you don't require a live feed from the field in every instance, the LU30 is ideal for preparing footage on the fly. Edit a take and add graphics in the field on your laptop and then uplink the finished file as FTP back to the studio, ready for broadcast at your convenience. Alternatively, you can easily upload large amounts or raw footage for studio editors to edit.
