At this year’s World Cup LiveU sent 200 units, doubling the number of units sent to the 2012 London Summer Olympics and providing over 5 times as many units as we did for the previous World Cup in 2010. Brazil’s new 4G networks allowed LiveU’s units to reach speeds of over 8 Mbps as broadcasters went live from all over the country. All of LiveU's units were working hard throughout the month, bringing live footage of the excitement surrounding the tournament to their viewers at home. We are happy to present the final aggregated transmission statistics for the 2014 FIFA World CupTM.
