2014 has been an exciting year here at LiveU. We've released new products, integrated with the cloud, and been a major presence at high profile events around the world. As the year is drawing to a close, we'd like to take a look back at some of the highlights of 2014.
For many years, satellite trucks have been the go-to method of live broadcasting for newsgathering professionals. As cellular transmission technology has progressed, it has gained popularity and many in the industry have been debating the merits of satellite vs cellular transmission.
IBC 2014 is in full swing in Amsterdam and the LiveU stand has been abuzz with non-stop action.

Operators in the field have been making good use of all the power we were able to pack into the small, lightweight LU500. The new "baby backpack" as many call it, has been seeing non-stop action since its release to the public earlier this year and some of the newest applications have been both inventive and exciting.
