Responsibilities:
• Serve as a technical sales lead for the region
• Lead sales engineering activities and projects to promote sales goals
• Support the sales team with all required technical sales activities including customer demonstrations, trials and POCs
• Lead technical discussions with strategic customers and coordinate solution development with company HQ functions
• Initiate and manage partner training and support partner sales activities
• Manage exhibitions and roadshows in the region including setting up and managing the demonstrations
• Gather requirements from the market and provide priorities to the product team and company roadmap
• Work with global customer success team to provide local support to solve customer issues as required
• Serve as solutions expert for APAC region
• Reporting to director of sales engineering in APAC

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer-Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience in a technological role
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical sales engineering or similar position
• Hands-on experience in tailoring and managing solutions projects for customers
• Experience in broadcast productions, online video and telecommunications
• Knowledge in Linux and cloud solutions
• Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Strong presentation skills
• More than 50% travel domestically and abroad
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin (additional Asian languages – advantage)
• More than 50% travel abroad
