USA (LiveU HQ)

Logistics Lead/Supervisor

To ensure timely flow of LiveU products from US manufacturing/distribution centers to domestic and international customers through third party logistics providers. This includes coordination of inbound logistics for components to support local configuration or factory refurbishment of products.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Review and schedule sales orders to ensure alignment of cost and logistics time to achieve requested delivery dates
  • Coordinate with 3PL and Air Freight companies for smooth transport of products
  • Make freight arrangements for export delivery with freight forwarder ensuring all aspects of shipment process (preparation of AWB, Certificate of Origin, meet IATA requirements, US Custom filings, Inland transportation and billing requirements) are met.
  • Manage, maintain, and issue applicable documentation and provide instruction to comply with Federal regulations and country requirements, such as proforma invoices for letters of credit, import licenses and pre-shipment inspections.
  • Act as sole point of contact and successfully liaise between customers, carriers, freight forwarders and departments within the LiveU (Sales, Sales-Ops, Finance, Operations)
  • Provides supervisory direction for the warehouse personnel both internal and at contract manufacturers
  • Complete process of shipment including arranging for pick-up or inland transportation, booking, coordination of document preparation (i.e. Certificate of origin, export declaration) forwarding, follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination.
  • Create and maintain SOP (standard operating procedures) and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates and preferred routings/services/carriers

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in export logistics (preferably air freight).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills mandatory
  • Experience with order management systems and are familiar with export policies.
  • Knowledge of US and foreign government regulations for international shipments.
  • Knowledge HAZ-MAT regulations and related documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written & verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines & handle high volume.
  • Experience in trouble shooting and effective problem-solving skills in handling delays, damages, and freight claims.

Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

Regional Sales Manager (MENA)

LiveU, the pioneer and leader in IP-based live video services and broadcast solutions is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the MENA markets

Territories: MENA (Middle East, North Africa)

Location: UK / UEA / Dubai / Jordan

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for revenue in your region, setting goals and building the sales plan
  • Recruit, manage and work with distribution channels in the region and increase the reseller network
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase business
  • Create demand through seminars and roadshows presenting the company’s products and solutions  
  • Drive short term revenues and establish long-term strategic relationships with customers
  • Lead product demonstrations, bid preparation and contract negotiations
  • Work in coordination and collaboration with other departments for product support or technical expertise throughout the sales cycle
  • Set priorities for our local pre-sale and marketing team and coordinate their activities with our local partners.

Requirements

  • Proven success in similar roles as Sales account manager or business development manager in the region
  • At least 5 years experience selling solutions in the technology and high-tech market
  • Deep knowledge of the Broadcast and/or Online video streaming market an advantage
  • Experience with distributors and channel management
  • Demonstrated history of sales achievements including growing sales and development of new business
  • Good technical aptitude and ability to demonstrate complex solutions and discuss technical features in detail as well as performing technical demonstrations
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills in English and Arabic
  • Independent, self-driven, creative, initiator, “can-do!” attitude
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively internationally

Senior DevOps Engineer

LiveU is looking for a mid-level to senior DevOps engineer. This role will work with a team located around the world on the construction and maintenance of a hosted environment that serves web applications, digital video servers, content delivery network tools, and software packages for customer-premises upgrade of embedded linux appliances and linux servers. This environment is largely hosted on AWS today but includes aspects hosted in other cloud environments and in local environments. In addition, the B2B nature of LiveU's customer base requires specific understanding of security concerns as they relate to networking - such as impact on customer firewall rules of new components of the hosted environment.

The ideal candidate will come from a software engineering background, and will have some level of experience with:

  • AWS including EC2, VPC, Load Balancing, Lambda, RDS and Dynamo DB
  • Python 2.x, Bash
  • Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform (and other HashiCorp tools)
  • HTTP REST APIs and security considerations such as Oauth and CORS
  • ELK, Grafana (+StatsD), Zabbix
  • Debian Linux
  • Linux networking tools including iperf, mtr, tcpdump, ntop, etc.
  • Containers
  • Dealing with SLDC
