LiveU Signals a New Era of Live Broadcasting at Broadcast Asia 2026

From intelligent field production to cloud-native workflows, LiveU’s unified IP-video EcoSystem is built for broadcasters who demand more

At Broadcast Asia 2026 (Stand 5H3–8), LiveU is redefining live production with its most powerful IP-video EcoSystem to date – built to help broadcasters and content creators embrace digital-first operations and ensure resilient IP contribution in even the most demanding environments. From the APAC debut of the LU900Q intelligent production unit – a complete re-engineering of 5G production for the world’s most demanding broadcast environments – to the universal power of LiveU Nexus,  and the efficiency of LiveU Ingest, visitors will discover how LiveU brings every stage of live video together in one seamless, story-centric workflow.

“This EcoSystem touches every stage of live production,” says Zion Eilam, SVP Sales International, LiveU. “Built around our LRT™ protocol, with automation at the core, our goal is to help broadcasters reduce manual processes and operational complexity, so they can focus on what matters most: producing engaging, story-centric live content, even in the most demanding environments.”

LU900Q
is built with a high-gain, antenna array and six 5G Dual-MIMO modems, delivering maximum resiliency in crowded locations and remote areas alike. It seamlessly integrates with SDI, HDMI and IP production gear – from ENG cameras and PTZ systems to drones and beyond. Integrated GPS and telemetry provide real-time field visibility, while dual video return, dual intercom and 10-bit HDR 4:2:2 encoding with up to 32 audio channels and seven hours of battery bring studio-grade production to any location.

LiveU Nexus is a powerful cloud-native universal gateway that simplifies modern broadcast ingest and distribution for fast-growing digital-first environments. Converting, normalizing and routing IP feeds across protocols including LRT, SRT and RTMP, it seamlessly bridges social, online and remote sources with traditional broadcast operations – connecting SDI, SMPTE 2110 and NDI-based production systems with cloud and on-premises infrastructure. By enabling broadcasters to serve linear, digital and social platforms from a single unified IP workflow, LiveU Nexus creates more value from every stage of the LiveU EcoSystem.

Alongside field acquisition and ingest, LiveU Studio returns to Broadcast Asia with expanded cloud-based IP live production capabilities – including the ability to deliver multiple feeds in various formats from a single production. Built around a browser-based, broadcast-grade video switcher with support for synchronized multi-camera production, ISO recording, and instant replay, LiveU Studio gives remote and distributed teams the flexibility to produce professional live content from anywhere.

LiveU will emphasize how workflow automation is becoming essential as broadcasters face increasing production demands with leaner teams. For example, a live production that previously required separate planning, transmission, ingest and metadata workflows across several platforms can now be managed centrally – from scheduling to execution – significantly reducing operational overhead.

LiveU Ingest
brings live acquisition straight into editorial within a story-centric workflow. It automatically records and tags content with story metadata – integrating with MAM systems, NRCS platforms, and transcription services so every feed is searchable, rundown-linked, and ready to clip. The result: faster video processing and significantly lower production costs.

LiveU Schedule plays a key role in automated workflows, replacing spreadsheets and fragmented tools with a centralized SaaS platform for intelligent scheduling, resource management, and automated execution. Built for fast-paced news and complex live events, LiveU Schedule helps broadcasters streamline planning and ensure consistent, repeatable workflows.

Actus Digital, a LiveU company and a leader in quality assurance monitoring and compliance logging, will have a dedicated demo station on Magna Systems & Engineering’s Stand 5D1-1, unveiling the latest advancements in Actus X – including a browser-based sub-second multiviewer and automatic alert reporting for greater real-time visibility.

LiveU’s full EcoSystem will be showcased at Elevate Broadcast’s Stand 5H3–8.
