Background

Background

Intavision Media is a Miami-based production company serving the Latin American broadcast market. Commissioned to produce “La Casa del Kun, a talk show aligned with the 2026 World Football Championship and hosted by Sergio “Kun” Agüero, former player for Argentina National Team, Manchester City, and FC Barcelona, the project represented more than a high-profile production.

It also marked the debut of their OB Van: a mobile production unit to support broadcast-quality camera operations from any location.

The Challenge

Producing a live football talk show in remote production mode, where the cameras, talent, and production infrastructure are on site, while directing, switching, and distribution are handled remotely, requires a fast, stable, and resilient contribution path.

For Intavision Media, the added pressure was significant: this was the first live deployment of its new OB Van, on a high-profile production, with no margin for connectivity failure.

“La Casa del Kun” was produced in a true REMI workflow. The client’s production team handled all live switching remotely, relying entirely on the incoming feeds to produce the show. Any interruption in the contribution path could have jeopardized the continuity of the broadcast.

The Solution

Intavision Media deployed a complete camera OB Van operation from Miami with four HD broadcast cameras, ten microphones, professional lighting, and a Unity intercom system. Produced in REMI mode, the program used a multi-cam LU800 as the primary transmission link, bonding four cellular channels to deliver four live HD ISO feeds from the field to the remote production team. This configuration enabled the program to be produced without relying on fixed infrastructure, while maintaining the flexibility, quality, and reliability required for a professional workflow.

An SRT transmission path was configured as a backup, providing redundancy in the event of primary link degradation. LiveU and Link Miami Video Agency provided on-site technical support, coordinating configuration, deployment, and real-time monitoring throughout the production.

The Results

Intavision Media successfully produced every Sunday edition of “La Casa del Kun” during the tournament from the OB-1.

The LU800 maintained uninterrupted transmission across all four camera ISO feeds for every live broadcast, while the SRT backup path remained available without needing to be used throughout the entire operation.

The production confirmed Intavision Media’s OB Van capability as a compact, flexible mobile production unit prepared to deliver broadcast standards in scenarios where no fixed contribution infrastructure is available.

Conclusion

“La Casa del Kun” marked the first major production milestone for Intavision Media’s OB Van and demonstrated that a REMI workflow built around the LU800 can bring a live chit chat show from the field to remote production teams with the reliability, quality, and flexibility required for professional broadcast.

For production companies operating in markets where fixed contribution infrastructure can be limited or unreliable, the combination of bonded cellular transmission and a resilient backup path makes broadcast-quality REMI production viable, flexible, and scalable.

“LiveU gave us the confidence to deploy quickly, maintain reliable connectivity in a challenging environment, and focus on what matters most: producing great television. Our goal with the OB-1 was to demonstrate that a compact mobile production unit can deliver the same broadcast standards as a traditional large production truck, and LiveU was a key part of making that possible.”
